christmas cheer!
this is teil ein of joseph's christmas this year. teil zwei is coming to my mom's house in nashville.
he's a remake of the smoking tin robots from the 1950s. he doesn't smoke or light up like the original, but this little guy is neat nonetheless. noisy, too.
because i am a ruiner of christmas surprises, he already knows about this one. i got too excited and pestered him into looking at it when i bought it online. on the bright side, at least the rest of christmas is still a secret. unless i manage to mess that part up, too.
which is entirely plausible.
